We enjoyed beautiful weather on the morning of Sunday 2 March for this year's BA Cross Country Championships.  The ground was frozen and rock hard at 08:30, but by 10:30 it had melted into Cranford Park’s usual heavy, soggy surface.

The race attracted ten starters, including three from Milocarians AC, who usually take part in this match.  For the BA team Paul Knechtl led the team home, while our own Julie Barclay was the lady winner over a two-lap course. Sadly Paul Watt and John Scaife were forced to retire before completing three laps.

Thanks goes to our organized results team of Paul Brandon and Steve Taylor, while out on the course the runners were encouraged and directed by Helen Smith, Graham Taylor, David Duggan and Steve Newell.  Thanks also to Jenny Hedges of LB Hillingdon for facilitating the event.
